@stixandpix1966 You know how to love your enemies? By not making enemies. You know how to forgive? By not judging. Your know how to not judge? By not holding everybody else to your standards and demanding them behave in a way that makes you feel secure. Most of the drama in the world would come to a halt and war would vanish. How do you not fea?, By knowing things ARE under control. If a human can figure that out, God has 2. Love your enemy & judge not..unless u're God? What a double standard.

@stixandpix1966 The God of the OT is a representation of all the hate, anger, jealousy, and every other undesirable human quality. The writers of those books knew not of God. If that resonates with you, then it only does because you feel it yourself. Jesus on the other hand was God's opposite, yet very few people I've met actually live like he taught people to live. Most still fear life, Satan, and the world.....and sadly, God. The news shines a perfect spotlight on that. We damn ourselves.

@stixandpix1966 From what I can see, the Jews of the O.T. were angry, insecure, violent, warring race of people who used God as justification 2 invade, kill, & execute people who didn't live like them. Just like the Jihadist of today. They prayed 2 God to kill their enemies & wipe them out. They praised God 4 their spilling of blood. R we supposed to praise that? Shouldn't we look at that say "That is not righteous. That is not how we should live." Prince of Peace? What peace lives in hate?

@stixandpix1966 I was speaking generally. But why is God so angry? Why would a God be so violent? Why would God, who is supposed to be in control feel threatened by those whom God created? Anger, Jealousy, controlling, damning are human qualities, and if you are truly in control, what is there for God to be angry about? So what is good about an angry murderous God who makes enemies of the world? Because the world made an enemy of God? How is that love? Why would Go break God's own rules?
